Woodpecker and Heron classes have been studying the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh, particularly his work 'The Sunflowers'.
We have worked from a variety of sources, in a sustained and independent way, to create detailed drawings, water colour paintings and also large scale studies in oil pastels. in our Art books we also explored with the use of chalk pastels.
