A warm welcome awaits you at SS Mary and Michael Catholic Primary School

|

Mrs Cathryn Wilkinson, Headteacher

Welcome to SS Mary and Michael Catholic Primary School. We believe passionately in the education and opportunities we provide for our children. Our desire is for every child in school to have the very best experience they can – in everything! Our children will remember their time here in years to come; happy and fond memories they can treasure for ever.

Our children have the very best academic start in their education. This is enhanced by creative, environmental, enriched and social opportunities ensuring that they develop wholly in every area, into young people of the future.

We hope you find our website and information about our school useful and informative. Should you wish to visit school in person, please do not hesitate to contact us to make a mutually convenient appointment to take a look around. All children and their families are most welcome.

Come and find 'Garstang's Hidden Gem', SS Mary and Michael Catholic Primary School.

Mrs Cathryn Wilkinson,
Headteacher.

' We love coming to school each morning, we like the fact that we are helpful, kind and hardworking. Our teachers are nice and we are encouraged to use our manners. We share, we smile and we learn. We show respect, follow rules and always try hard. Everyone is treated fairly and we feel safe and cared for. We love our school!'

Pupil comments from questionnaires

' Standards of behaviour are good, pupils are polite, articulate and a credit to school.  Children feel safe in school and are keen to learn. Pupils' enjoyment of school is reflected in their high rates of attendance.  Parents are positive about the school, embracing the family atmosphere that school provides and the high levels of emotional support offered to their children.  Children achieve well in early years and reading is a strength of the school.'

OFSTED 2018

'Making school relaxed, fun, welcoming and safe.'
'Expectations of pupil behaviour are of the highest standard.'
'Dedicated and enthusiastic staff.'
'We feel very lucky that our child attends such a wonderful school!
