In the unfortunate event of your child needing to self-isolate for a 2-week period, I have put together a 10-day learning pack of activities with a suggested timetable to encourage normality and routine for the children. There are resource packs to go with the timetable to provide lots of practise of key information and skills that are recommended in Year 6. They will also have the weekly homework tasks shared with them via Class Dojo and Purple Mash. This timetable is by no means exhaustive, if they would like to complete other activities that are not on the timetable, they are more than welcome to!
The children will still have access to their online accounts (on Purple Mash and Class Dojo) and will be able to share their hard work with me through these platforms. A particular favourite feature of mine, on Purple Mash, is the ability to record a voice message when submitting work. This is a great way for the children to keep in touch and explain how they got on with the different activities. I also love responding via a voice message so they can hear the pride in my voice, recognising their hard work.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via Class Dojo.
Have a lovely day!
