We looked at pictures of castle walls in our information books then used chalks to create our own castle wall designs

In our History lessons we have been looking at portraits of Kings & Queens and decided to produce our own portraits of one another using chalk pastels.
Chalk pastels are great for mixing and blending. We experimented by rubbing together different colours with our fingertips. We were able to mix lots of different shades and tones, we then used this technique when creating our portraits - it was quite messy but great fun!

Class 2's Alliteration Poem

Terrible, tangy tasty tomatoes.
Big, bouncy, bumping, boingy beach ball.
Super, slippery, skidding slide.
Sizzling, super, spicy, spitting, silly sausages.
Clumsy, crazy, curious, cheeky, clapping, crackers clown.
Tasy, terrible, tangy tea.
