		We have been exploring the primary colours through paint. We found out what happens when you add white to a colour. We also experimented by mixing primary colours together to see what shades and tones of other colours we could make. We used Kandinsky's painting of circles as our inspiration.
		As part of our Food topic we have been looking at fruit. We produced these lovely designs based on the work of William Morris. We used a variety of techniques and textures to create pomegranates, peaches, oranges and lemons.
		We practised our sewing skills by making these super puppets.
		We made Funnybones pictures using art straws.
		Class 1 have been looking at the primary colours: RED, BLUE and YELLOW. We used lots of materials with different textures to create these 'feely' collages. First we had to sort the materials into colour groups, then we used our cutting and sticking skills to fix the materials to the paper.
			On our first days at school we painted pictures of ourselves so that everyone in school will know who we are!
